For Educators

The Madame Walker Theatre Center is one of less than 40 registered Indiana state historic landmarks. Within its walls is a history lesson as compelling as its beautiful architecture. Educators interested in bringing the story of Madame CJ Walker to life will find a myriad of resources including videos, books, tours, quizzes, and lecturers. Additionally, our student matinee series offers low-to-no cost excursions for youth to experience live cultural performances, lectures, and concerts. Educators may also schedule a tour of our history & heritage center as well as the theatre.
